El Castillo Real, a true Mayan royalty.

At Dune Buggy Adventour, we make an ATV powered drive to Castillo Real, a mayan ruin hidden deep in Cozumel’s jungle. We make a ride on the ocean shore to make our way to one of the greatest vestiges that the great Mayan culture left in the island. El Castillo Real was used by natives for their navigation system. It was used as a look-out with four viewpoints corresponding to the Cardinal points (North, South, East and West) with the main entrance located with a view to every day’s sunrise.
